WOW

is anyone absolutely shocked and disgusted by this woman?

Look im not slating her as a person i dont even know her. i found her annoying on CBB but that is just opinion, some ppl might love her.

I just think that this ady CLEARLY has an eating disorder of some kind!!! even when she was standing with her legs crossed u could still easily fit a fist between her thighs! it scares and disgusts me that she is allowed to go on telly and be seen as glamorous, edgy and cool. its scares me. she was smoking, acting out being LITERALLY abit mentally odd and sooooooo unbelievably skinny and its fine? how is this? please someone tell m ehow is this ok?ppl that skinny shouldnt be allowed to go on telly.

iv got nothing against skinny ppl at all, i think if your are naturally that size and healthy that fantastic good for you but NO ONE is that skinny and healthy its just not possible!! if you have an eating disorder you shouldnt be glamorised you be shown as how you are suffering and strugling highlight the plight and not make it look fabulous to be skinny.

AAAAAAAUUUURRRRRGHHH OUTRAGED anyway rant over. comments please ladies.

August 13th 2012 - This Morning article

13/08/2012 21:47

Today i was watching This Morning and there was a very striking story on it. There were 2 woman being interviewed, one on a mission like mine and the other (a glamour model i think) seemingly promoting plastic surgery.

Im sorry i do not remember their names so you might have to read this 2 or 3 times to get what im talking about!

The first woman, a stunning curvy woman with a natural confidence about her. she looked very comfortable in her own skin and very strong and proud to be her. The other (the plastic surgery fanatic) looked quite confident but a fake confidence a sort of shallow confidence not the type of confidence that can accepy insults and laugh them off, the type of confidence that relies on and feeds off men constantly gauping at her big fake breasts.

She (the glamour model) said that she was bullied alot as a child, about her looks. she has had her ears pinned, her nose done, her lips done, botox, breast implants and she felt that she would not have gotten to where is without all her surgery. She felt she would not ever have found happiness etc without her surgery. This is so so sad.

The other lady (the brunette) was arguing that, rather than changing how she looked, she should try and change how she FEELS about the ways he looks. i fully fully agree with her. I am not against plastic surgery at all i just think that there is a time and a place for it. and using plastic surgery to complete change the way you look, entirely, because other ppl thought u didnt fit into the category of 'beautiful' and 'normal'. its basically letting the bullies win.

Also, what happens when her looks fade? will she become depressed and unconfident again? Thats sad. age should bring confidence and acceptance of your flaws. EMBRACE YOUR FLAWS not hide them and try to look like a pre concieved idea of what woman should look like.

imagine if we all looked like that? how boring would that be??

Nikki Grahame on bulemia

01/08/2012 21:42

Having suffered with bulemia myself i know how much it can affect and damage your life, and your body.

I think that what 'Professor Green' said about bulemia is ignorant nd disgusting. This is a comment from a purely ignorant narrow minded individual who really has NO IDEA! He has clearly never had to suffer with anything like this, whether its him or anyone he loves. even watching someone you love do this to themselves is horrendous. I think Nikki Grahame is a wondeful inspiration and very brave for telling her story.

I would love to some how join forces with her in the fights against eating disorders. And the charity b-eat does some amazing work. please check out their website if you have any concerns about yourself or anyone you know!!

Tanorexia

01/08/2012 21:37

I read the aricles i have pasted on the website about the 2 woman with 'tanorexia'. its very sad how neither of them seem to think they have a problem. The first step is admitting you have a problem! I do use sunbeds. ONCE A WEEK for 9 minutes. i always use suncream outside and get my moles checked every 6 months. i dont have any skin damage, according to the dr.

Its scary how much danger these 2 woman are putting themselves in, not to mentian the mother who put her 5 year old on a sunbed! disgusting!!!

I hope justice is served and ireally hope these woman wake up before they kill themselves.

And on a purely vain note, the mother is 44, she looks about 65!!

BBW beauty pageants

20/07/2012 20:42

I also saw this on 'This Morning' (i do atch this morning everyday lol) and i would like give this woman a massive round of applause!

This is about a beauty pageant for Big Woman. According to their BMI these woman are obese. obviously this is massively straining on their body, health wise i suppose its not great. and obviously TigerStripes promotes health as well as happiness, so i dont want to brush over the fact that these woman are obese and any doctor would most likely say that they are unhealthy. From this point of view its not fantastic.

BUUUT from a happiness point of view its amazing! This poor girl was bullied for her weight all the way through school and ended up leaving college because of the bullying. The fact is, she is obese. any amount of bullying or nastiness wont change this. The fact is, YES obesity is a huge strain on the NHS. but so is smoking and so is drinking and so is drug abuse so is anorexia. I think obesity is the BIGGEST strain on the NHS but i dont think this pageant is promoting obesity, its just embracing the fact that there has always and always will be big woman and they should feel beautiful they should feel sexy and loved and amazing!

A point was made on This Morning, arent Big Beautiful Woman beauty pageants just a pageant for obesity? What if we held pageants for skinniest woman? good point? ou might think so....

I DO NOT. isnt every special K advert a pageant for skinny women? Isnt every single fat free food, new diet, advert in clothing shops (especially thinking of ASOS, Topshop and Newlook) and catwalk show a pageant for skinny woman? i think it is and no one bats an eyelide when a size six woman is advertising on a huge poster in Newlook "BUY THESE SKINNY JEANS I CANT BREATHE IN THEM YOU WONT EVEN GET UR BIG TOE IN THE LEG!!"

Drunkorexia

20/07/2012 20:06

DRUNKOREXIA? what is this you ask? well, it is when people (mostly young girls) skip meals in order to save up their calories for a heavy night of drinking, to avoid putting on weight.

This throws up sooooo many things i want to talk about!!

I do not think that 'drunkorexia'is a good label it mushes so many different issues into one, and sort of sweeps a good couple things under the carpet.

In my personal opinion... (now remember i am not a dr or anything so really my opinion should hold no bearing on anything! if you think you or someone you know suffers with this condition pls dont take my word as gospel!)......

I think girls that have 'drunkorexia' have an eating disorder, or at least a self image issue (depending wether they actually think they are fat and want to lose weight, or if they are just trying to avoid gaining weight) They are also at risk of developing alcoholism, if they havent already! They definately do not have a firm grasp or healthy view of drinking socially.

Putting aside the high risk of developing alcoholism, they are also starving themselves of vital nutrition. Starving yourself might seem as a quick effective way to lose weight, but take it from someone who has been there.....it causes so many other problems that just are not worth it.

Binge drinking is so dangerous for so many different reasons, starving yourself is soooo dangerous for just as many reason, add these together and you just have a recipe for disaster!! Serious, serious health and mental issues. Although its an egg and chicken situation, do they have psycological problems to start with? I am sure that they probably do!

It is very sad, i feel for these girls. This is the baby of the generation of being too skinny and drinking too much!

Vanity Wonder illegal bum implants gone wrong!

17/07/2012 22:33

I saw this on This Morning yesterday. i couldnt believe the size of her bum. But then i found out that its 45inches and my bum was 46inches when i was pregnant with my second baby. And it is now 42inches. So iv actually decided that she must weight about 6 stone lol because her butt is enormous and i know i have a valumptious bum but mine does not look that big! well i dont think so anyway lol!

I couldnt believe what she has done to her bum, but i actually have alot of respect for her. i think what she has done to her body it is truly shocking. and the fact that she put her life at risk to achieve it also shocks me to the core. she went to someone who probably didnt have any qualifications and admits that she isnt even sure what she had injected into herself!!

but she has realised what she has done is wrong and harmful and she has tried to stop it happening to other people by writing a book. I think its great that she has managed to bring light to the dodgy underworld of illegal cosmetic surgery.

Its fantastic that she is not ashamed to stand up and use her mistake as an example to other potential victims. She is risking alot of potential abuse from narrow minded people but is still prepared to bring something good out of her life threatening obsession.

WELL DONE VANITY WONDER and i really hope that she is happy with her body now and stops having things done!! and i truly hope that she doesnt put her life at risk again!

another barbie party...!!

14/07/2012 22:22

wow so i read another article today that was about a girl who has spent £10,000 on plastic surgery in order to look like Barbie....??!?!?!?!!? What is going on? when i was young barbie was an amazingly fun toy not a role model or something to sculpt your body on! wow again WOW!!

In her article she goeson to say that, every woman, can achieve Barbies figure with a healthy diet and exercise. Is this girl DILUDED??? i take GREAT pleasure in pointing out that, if Barbie were a real woman.................

Her head would be the same circumfrence as her waist (meaning she would only have space for half a liver and a few inches of intestine - she would die of chronic diarrhea, malabsorption and malnutrition.)

take a healthy woman, add 13cm to her chest, 8cm to the height of her neck and take off 15cm from her waist.

Because Barbie’s neck is twice as long as the average human’s, it would be impossible for her to hold up her head. Her legs are 50 percent longer than her arms, (the average woman’s legs are only 20 percent longer than her arms). She’d also have to walk on all fours (her feet are so disproportionately small, her chest would pull her forward onto her toes).

REAL WOMEN
Average woman’s height is 5’4″
Their weight is approx. 140 lbs.
They wear a size 14 dress
Their bust is between 36″ and 37″ (B cup)
Their waist is between 30″ and 34″
Their hips average between 40″ and 42″
Their shoe size is estimated to be between 8.5 and 9.5

BARBIE
Barbie’s height would be 7’2″
Her weight would be 101 lbs.
She would wear a size 4 dress
Her bust would be 39″ (FF cup)
Her waist would be 19″ (same as her head)
Her hips would be 33″
Her shoe size would be a 5

I AM :......

height:5"4

weight: 10stone10lb

bust:32H

Bum:size14

Waist: size 10

Hips: size 12 (NOT THE SAME AS MY HEAD I CAN GARUANTEE - otherwise i would be smarter than albert einstein!!!)

Neck: Normal sized (i think...i hope @:(:(:( )

Shoe size: 4 (yes they are hooves thank you, i KNOW)

i am not in anyway suggesting we ban barbie or saying i hate barbie, i am simply saying BARBIE IS A DOLL would we actually really ever suggest our daughters model themselves on plastic figurines? NO! im sure you would all agree we would never encourage our little girls to shape their perfect bodies on that of a plastic machine made doll A TOY, yet we insist on doing it ourselves?!?!?! come'on ladie THINK FOR A MOMENT how many of you have a ken? i know i dont i have myself a real man and, i know, he would never like to have a plastice fake size 4 girl.

what is it with society, worshiping fake icons? a wonderful body icon is Holly Willoughby. i thnk she is stunning with a lovely figure. she has had 2 babies and looks lovely. she embraces her curves and hasnt tried to change anything GOOD FOR YOU HOLLY!!!
